Spring Decorations in the Snow!

First snow of the season! The other day I pulled into my yard and saw all my spring yard decorations covered in snow. They looked so cute, I ran and got my camera and sat back in my car to photograph them from the angle I first saw them! I once saw a book that was based on yard decorations in off seasons! What a fun thing to do in the winter months! I just did a spot meter reading off of the decorations themselves so that they would be properly exposed. Hope you enjoy them! The snow was not white, but it was overcast and the snow was not white to the eyes either! =)

There is actually two bunnies here. The first one is buried in the snow!

I love decorations that make you smile! This one does for sure!

This photograph I took as a landscape and then portrait mode. Both give a different perspective of the same subject! I know there were a lot more angles to take it from for sure, but these worked for me! It was cold, and I was in my warm car!

This one would make a cute card with a phrase written in the empty space! I make greeting cards, and sometimes leave blank space specifically so that I will have a place to add text without compromising the photograph itself.

This is showing that hopefully before we know it, spring will be back! In the meantime, don't stop taking photographs! There is still so much out there to see and capture! So keep your camera handy and have fun!
