You won't know until you go!

This morning I went to Minot Beach in Scituate to photograph the sunrise. There were dark clouds blocking the horizon, and the sun didn't present itself until about a half an hour later. By then, it was harsh light and had lost the golden glow. So I remembered that if you go to a place in hopes to get a particular photograph, and it didn't plan out the way you wanted, find something that has been presented to you instead, and photograph that! So I did! I captured the sun as it hit the side of the lighthouse and skimmed the top of the water. It was a pretty but COLD morning! So to quote my friend Larry, when going on a photo trip, "You won't know until you go, what you are going to get"! I didn't get the sunrise shot that I was hoping for, but I did get a shot that I was pleased with, and it was beautiful to witness the dawn of a new day!
