O'Sullivan's Law!! Who ever heard of Murphy??

Last night just about everything that could go wrong on a photo outing did! It started out going to Hull to shoot a photograph of a rainbow, except I don't know where my mind was, because I forgot all of my memory cards at home!! I had a full bag of camera equipment, no card to capture anything on! So I went home, grabbed my memory card and just one camera and lens.

I went back to Hull to a new location that I wasn't expecting to go to and it was beautiful! There was still time to see the magnificent sky, and my lens started acting up! Wouldn't focus! So I went to manual focus!! Then, the lens wasn't giving the right meter readings to the camera!! So I went to manual exposure as well! Then even on manual, the lens still wasn't working right!! So I took a few photographs, and got the message that I was just supposed to be here to enjoy the view, so I did! And as far as the sunset goes, there wasn't one! It went behind a cloud! But it was still a picture perfect night, with or without a camera! Sometimes you just have to sit back and enjoy the view!

It ended up being a beautiful night! I didn't get to capture all the beautiful sights that I saw, and that is okay! I enjoyed the night, and have great memories of it! The pictures are there, but in my mind, and I will always have them!

I heard someone say one time. The sun rises and sets every day of your life! How many do you take the time to stop for and enjoy? I try to see as many as I can! It is Mother Nature at her best!  I will have to try again tonight!
