First Run-Away Day in months...

Yesterday was one of my old fashioned run-away days! Destination unknown, just wanted to drive, listen to music, explore and most of all relax!!!

Pemaquid Lighthouse, Main

 I drove all around Maine, and saw some amazing sights! It was actually relaxing to see them and not photograph them for a change. The only plan that I had in the back of my head is that I wanted to be at Pemaquid Lighthouse at sunset. This is a favorite place for me, and I just had to see it to make my day complete! When I got there, I found out that my camera battery was dead! Packed light, so no back up! Except my pocket camera!! My friend Jamie takes the best photographs with her fancy compact Canon camera, so I wanted to see how my little pocket camera would do! Results? Let me know what you think! All of these photographs were taken with my Nikon pocket camera! Hard lighting, and the camera rocked! So did the run away day!
