When I saw the clouds when I got out of work today, I just knew I had to run away and look for the magic that they bring. I was hoping for a rainbow, but got some beautiful shots without one! It was still AMAZING!! =0) The photo above it the Minot Light just as a God ray was hitting it! At the same time a flock of ducks flew by, it was really cool!
This is about an hour later. The clouds rolled in and the waves were incredible! You could actually feel the sidewalk shake when they crashed against the rocks! This was shot at an ISO of 200 and a fraction of a second exposure. I could have frozen the motion with a higher ISO, but I prefer the dreamy effect of the power of the ocean!
There were also daisies at the ocean front, and it was too windy too have them hold still long enough for a crisp shot, so I decided to play with slow shutter speeds and zooming the lens while the exposure is being made! This one was my favorite! Makes it look like spring or summer, but the brisk air definitely lets you know it is fall!! =0) Hope you enjoyed my photos from today! A friend told me if work is rough, you have to take whatever is left of the day and make it the best that you can!! So I did!! Thanks Rose!! =)
