Funny, when I was really little, water used to scare me. To tell the truth, it used to scare the hell out of me! Now that I am older, and want to unwind or relax, what used to scare me is now what comforts me. This was taken at dawn this past Saturday at Nantasket Beach in Hull. That is Boston Light in the background with the beacon lit. Doesn't just guide ships... Later in the afternoon I was actually on the ocean on a tour of lighthouses from Scituate to Rockport. It was a beautiful day. This photo was taken with a tripod heading away from the sunrise itself. The light this time of day is beautiful! It is a promise of a new day!!!
